USD 444 COVID Update 12-17-2020

December 17, 2020

USD 444 Parents:

Today we were made aware of positive COVID cases with staff at Windom School.  We now have a number of staff out at Windom due to COVID quarantines and positive cases.  Any quarantine concerns are being communicated with specific staff/families/students as it pertains to the individuals affected.

After much consideration and thought, and in the best interest of students and staff safety, we have made the decision that students will not be in session at Windom Elementary School tomorrow, Friday, December 18th.  Students will NOT be doing remote learning on this day.   We feel confident, with our communication with the Rice County Health Department, that we are addressing this situation as best and immediate as possible.

Little River Junior/Senior High School WILL be in session tomorrow, Friday, December 18th.

School will NOT be in session on Monday, December 21st and Tuesday, December 22nd for ALL USD 444 students.   School will resume for all students on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.   Please continue to be safe and we hope everyone can have a healthy and Merry Christmas.  We all hope for a much smoother start to 2021.

If you have any questions please contact your building principal or district office.

Busses will run as normal for Junior High and High School students on Friday, December 18th.
