Goessel JH Invitational Track Meet

General Information
1. Teams Invited: Burrton, Canton-Galva, Central Christian Academy (Wichita), Centre, Central Christian (Hutch), Elyria Christian, Goessel, Inman, Little River, Marion, Moundridge, Peabody-Burns, Remington, Sedgwick, Sterling, Hutch Trinity, Wichita Defenders, Wichita Warriors.
2. Coaches meeting @ 9:15 in the press box. We will cover starting heights, scratches and other team expectations.
3. Bus parking is east and north of the track along Cedar Street or Athletic Drive. Do not park school buses in the student parking lot located immediately to the west of the track.
4. Please use the facility in an appropriate manner and help to keep it clean. Coaches and administrators – please help in making sure this is accomplished.
5. All parents and non-competing students should remain outside of the track once field events are completed.
6. One meal will be provided by the Goessel Bluebird Backers for lunch. Individual meals will be prepared ahead of time for coaches, administrators, bus drivers and adult workers to pick up in the press box.
7. Restrooms are located on the east side of the press box and inside the east entrance to the school.
8. We will be using a FAT system to time the meet. Unofficial times will not be given at the finish line. Official times will be posted underneath the east bleachers opposite the bathroom doors. Athletes in non-lane specific finishes will be given a hip number that will need to be worn on the right hip.
9. There will be a concession stand.
Covid Protocols
1. Masks are required at concessions and in the restrooms.
2. No limit for the number of spectators, those in attendance should wear a mask when social distancing is not possible.
3. Athletes should wear a mask when checking in for their event or addressing a meet official.
4. Athletes should wear a mask when in high concentration areas such as around events and the start or finish line.
5. All field events will be flagged off. Only one coach and those warming up or competing should be inside the flags.
