“It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play by Joe Landry.”

Hello parents and patrons of Little River Jr/Sr High students—Merry Christmas!

I am proud to announce that the theater group has been working hard to prepare for this Christmas season, and proud to give to you, “It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play by Joe Landry.”

Radio drama, you say? Yes indeed!

The beauty of this retelling of the classic Christmas tale is the opportunity to see how a classic 1940’s radio drama was made, live and on stage! All of the sound effects take place before your eyes so that the audience can feel like they are apart of the performance.

I have had so much fun being able to introduce the students involved in the play to this beautiful and fun aspect of our history, and being able to share with them a world before YouTube and instagram. Please join us on Friday December 8th at 7:00PM and Sunday December 10th at 7:00 PM directly after the tree lighting in the square at the Home Town Christmas Celebration in Little River.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students. Children under 10 get in free! It’s a wonderfully nostalgic glance into the past, and a beautiful reminder of what really matters during this Christmas season.

We hope you can join us!
