The day is almost here to recognize your son's/daughter's accomplishments with the Graduation Shower on Main Street in Little River this Saturday, May 16th! We hope that this small celebration will be a nice way to honor our graduates on the originally scheduled date for graduation with the formal ceremony postponed to July 18th @ 3:00pm.
This Saturday, May 16th, we are asking seniors and "immediate" family members to stand by their banners and designated lamppost downtown. Though the drive-by Graduation Shower will begin at 3:00pm, we are asking seniors to please report by 2:30pm. We have secured York Photography to be there beginning at 2:30pm to stop by each lamppost to take your graduate's picture. York Photography will stop by each lamppost for a picture and we ask that if you have not had your picture taken by 3:30pm when the event concludes, that you remain by your lamppost until York Photography takes your picture. York Photography will photoshop your individual pictures to make a LRHS Senior 2020 Class Picture.
An order form is attached. Please print this form and have your order ready that day to hand to the photographer as she stops to take your picture. (If you need the order form printed for you, please drop by the district office to pick up an order form. Please call the district office before you come to pick up your order form to make sure someone is there: (620)897-6324)
Please note: We are mindful of the weather forecast and you may need to come prepared with an umbrella. In the event of severe weather, the event may be delayed until it is safe to proceed. A school text may be sent in the event plans need to change due to weather.
