WES Veterans Recognition Day 2021
Windom School will be honoring our Veterans on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. On this day we would like to invite ALL area Veterans, including active duty servicemen and women, American Legion members, and Auxiliary members to join us for lunch at Windom School. There will be an assembly at 11:00 a.m. and lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. Veterans who plan to join us for lunch, please contact Windom School at 620-489-6241 to leave your name by Friday, November 5, if possible. This will help us with our lunch count. If you forget to contact the school, PLEASE, STILL PLAN TO COME for the program AND lunch.
To show our appreciation for our Veterans, we are encouraging students and staff to wear patriotic clothing on this day. A special t-shirt or tie, something with a symbol of the United States, military fatigues, or red, white, and blue clothing is appropriate. Thanks for helping us say THANKS to our Veterans.
