USD 444 Food Service Update On October 9, 2020, USDA announced to extend free meals to students through June 30, 2020. What does this mean for USD 444 Little River? It means ALL students attending and enrolled in USD 444 Little River will continue to receive free meals, which includes breakfast and lunch, through May 12, 2021. Additionally, students will have to pay for seconds at the jr./sr. high school. Any remote learning students will need to notify the school by 9:00 a.m. if they would like to receive the free meals and will be responsible for picking up the meals at the school that is closest to your residence between 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. District families still need to fill out the free/reduced application as the free/reduced application is needed on file for families to possibly qualify for free textbook fees and school band instrument fees. This application also helps our district receive additional state funding needed to provide resources for our students.
