Bus routes are finalized, and contact has been made with parents regarding transportation. If you were not contacted and plan to ride the bus (not the shuttle), please get in touch with the district office at 620-897-6325 tomorrow. The 2026-2027 online enrollment process is officially open for you to enroll your child(ren). Also, on-site enrollment will be held on August 4th from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at both buildings.

USD 444 is in critical need of bus drivers for the 2026-2027 school year. Parents of our school children are often the best avenue of recruitment; therefore, I am asking you to please help spread the word so we can transport our students this school year. If you know of anyone who would be interested in working part-time (AM and/or PM route), please see the attached flyer and have them reach out to Superintendent Brent Garrison at the USD 444 Little River District Office. Due to the forecast of severe storms beginning in the late afternoon in our area, we will dismiss classes today at 1:30 p.m. and suspend all evening practices and activities. Due to the Regional Track Meet, other scheduled activities, and the absence of snow days this year, the school calendar has been adjusted. Students will now be dismissed one day earlier than originally planned.
USD 444’s last day of school will be Wednesday, May 20. This will be a full day of classes.
Building staff will share updates soon regarding any changes to last-day activities.
