Due to the high volleyball team qualifying for the State Volleyball Tournament held in Dodge City, we WILL NOT have school on Friday, November 1st for Grades Pre-K-12. This will allow everyone plenty of time to get to the games if they want to attend. GOOD LUCK LADY SKINS!!!
Just a reminder, tomorrow's regional volleyball matches and Saturday's Sub-State matches are both KSHSAA sponsored events. Per KSHSAA, there are no passes allowed and admissions prices are: $8 adults and $6 students. Thanks and Go Skins!
Booster Club meeting tomorrow night, Oct. 9th, at 7:00 p.m. in the Commons at the Little River Jr./Sr. High School. Everyone's ideas are needed and everyone is needed to support our jr./sr. high school students and staff. Hope to see you there!

Jr. High and High School Parents are invited to the first Booster Club meeting of the year on Wednesday, September 25th, at 7 p.m. in the Commons Area. We would love everyone's input and need you to make this the best year yet at LRJSH. This is a great way to show support to our children and staff.

The JH and HS school band will be marching at the State Fair on Monday, September 9th instead of Wednesday, September 11th, between 9:30 AM and 10:00 AM. ALL band students need to report to the school on Monday NO later than 8:30 AM. Parents, you can sign your child out early to go home or they may remain at the fairgrounds. If you are planning to pick up your child at the fairgrounds, you MUST sign them out with Mr. Spears. For those students who will be riding the bus home, it will return to Little River around 3:30 p.m. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Spears at 620-897-6201 by Friday, September 6th.
Marquette Parents - the Marquette afternoon bus will be running about 20-30 minutes later than normal today.
1-hour Late Start Wednesdays will begin on Wednesday, August 21st, with school beginning at 9:10 a.m. Bus routes/shuttles will run 1-hour late as well. Teachers report at 7:45 a.m.
Little River Senior and Junior High All-Sport Parent Meeting:

The meeting will start in the auditorium with Coach Base and then we will have break-out sessions that will be sports-specific with your athlete's coach. Hope to see you all tomorrow evening!

Back to School First Day for students is tomorrow, August 15th. School begins at 8:10 a.m. and is released at 3:35 p.m. Shuttle buses, for in-town students, between Little River and Windom will leave the respective schools promptly at 7:40 a.m. We ask that you arrive at the Little River or Windom School around 7:30 a.m.-7:35 a.m. to ride the shuttle bus.
For students in rural areas, bus drivers will be contacting or may already have contacted you with your morning pickup time. If you have not received a phone call by 5:00 p.m. today, please contact the district office at 620-897-6325.
