Due to the forecasted snowfall and windy conditions, Little River-Windom Schools will be closed on Tuesday, February 18th, and no evening activities. We will plan on a 2-hour late start on Wednesday, February 19th, with classes beginning at 10:10 AM for Kindergarten through 12th Grade and breakfast will not be served. If we can not attend on Wednesday, due to the conditions, a message will be sent out Tuesday evening or early Wednesday morning. Thanks for your understanding!

All USD 444 Little River K-12 Students will be admitted free to the Jr. High WSL Basketball Tournament on Saturday, February 8, 2025, due to the generosity of the Redskin Backerz. Times to be announced later. Wear your red, white, and black, and get a free tattoo!!! Come cheer on our JH Redskins!!!
Just a reminder, per Wheat State League constitution, NO Passes are accepted during post-season WSL events. Admission prices are $6 for Adults and $4 for Students.
Due to illness, the JV girls game scheduled for tonight has been cancelled. JV Boys will be the first game this evening, starting at 4:30 PM.
Due to the extremely cold temperatures in the morning, Little River-Windom will have a 2-hour late start, tomorrow, Tuesday, January 21st, for Grades K-12. There will be no Pre-K and breakfast will not be served.
The regular monthly board meeting scheduled for Wednesday, January 15, 2025, has been moved to Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at 6:30 a.m. at the Little River Jr./Sr. High School Conference Room.

Due to the weather conditions, Little River-Windom will have a 2-hour late start tomorrow, Friday, January 10th, for Grades Kindergarten through 12th Grade. Pre-K students will not attend and breakfast will not be served. A final decision will be made as soon as possible in the morning after a reevaluation of the roads has been made. If you do not receive a notification in the morning, it will be a 2-hour late start.
Due to predicted weather, today's HS Boys games vs Peabody have been rescheduled. The new date is set for Saturday, January 18th, with a start time of 1PM.
The JH basketball games with Rural Vista tomorrow, Thursday, January 9, 2025, have been canceled at this time. We will keep you updated if these games will be rescheduled.

We want to inform you about a recent cybersecurity incident involving PowerSchool, a platform used by many school districts, including ours.
While we are still gathering information, PowerSchool is actively investigating the situation and has taken steps to secure its systems.
At this time, we are working to determine if our district has been directly affected. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and share updates with you as we learn more.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 8, 2025, Little River-Windom will conduct school as normal with our regular one hour late start.
We understand that roads are still snow packed across town and county roads and ask that you contact your bus driver if changes occur with picking up your child in the morning.
