9/4 Friday Fellowship at 7:30 a.m. for LRHS Students/Staff: Our first Friday Game Day Fellowship will be Friday morning for all LRHS students/staff. Food and drink will be pre-packaged. Please wear masks and social distance. Bring a friend for some great food and fellowship. LET'S GO!

TODAY is the day for the USD 444 Auction! We will be available at 5 for you to browse available items and get your number for bidding. The auction will begin at 5:30! You can expect many more items than what we have taken pictures of. Old trim and doors, lockers, bookshelves, bulletin boards, file cabinets, wood cabinets, sinks, toilets, faucets, water fountains, bathroom stalls, ceiling fans, desks, chairs, books, maps, signs, and MUCH MORE! Payments will be due this evening by cash or check only. You are responsible for removing your purchased items by Saturday, September 5, 2020.

Lady Skins VB goes 3-0 with wins over Udall, Fairfield, and South Haven.

Lady Redskin Volleyball Scrimmage - The LRHS volleyball team will scrimmage this evening starting at 5:00. Please enter through the north door only. When inside the school/gym, please wear a mask and practice social distancing. Let's Go!

REMINDER: Tomorrow, Wednesday, August 26th, is one hour late start for students. School will begin at 9:10 a.m. with teachers reporting at 7:45 a.m.

Busing information for the upcoming school year will be as follows. Shuttles that will run from Little River to Windom in the mornings will load on the WEST side of the high school. Parents will need to drop kids off at the north commons door where they will be temperature checked and then walk down the sidewalk to load the buses. The afternoon shuttles from Windom will drop off at the WEST side of the high school also. Any questions, please call the District Office at 620-897-6325 .

Come out and watch as the LR Football team puts all of this summers hard work to the test. Athletes will be tested in the areas of speed, strength, agility and conditioning. Records were set last year and the LR team is out to break them! Testing starts at 6:30 pm this Thursday, August 20th at the football field.

High School Volleyball - first practice will be Monday, August 17th @3:45 pm. Bring your own filled water bottle and mask. Also a reminder you must have a signed physical form before you can practice. Thanks! - Coach Rolfs

Reminder: All coaches, head and assistants, and activity sponsors of KSHSAA activities will have a Zoom meeting at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 13. The Zoom link has been sent to your email.

Little River Cross Country - The first practice will be Monday, Aug. 17 at 3:30 with Coach Hull.

Grades 3rd-6th Football Camp Scheduled for Aug. 3, 4, 5 has been postponed. It is our hope/plan that some sort of camp will be able to be held in the future when appropriate. Coach Ayers

Windom Elementary School Enrollment 2020-2021 Windom Elementary School enrollment will take place on Thursday, August 6, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Enrollment packets will be mailed out this week. A start date for students is to be determined. We thank you for your support and willingness to meet these small requests below as we work through the enrollment process during this unusual time. It is our intention and hope that in doing these things we will get back to true normalcy more quickly. Details: • We request that you enter WES from the front lobby entry and you will exit from the south lunchroom door. • We are asking that you limit to one person coming into the school, if at all possible. • We are asking that you wear a mask to ensure the safety of all involved with enrollment and that you do your part in social distancing. • Masks and hand sanitizer will be available at the lobby entrance. • We will have some floor markings and signs to promote social distancing as a reminder in the lobby, hallway, and on the sidewalk if a line would develop. • Packets are being mailed out this week and we ask that you fill out ALL paperwork prior to dropping off your packet to help speed up the process. • If you are unable to make it in for enrollment or prefer not to come in person, you may mail forms and payment to Windom School, P.O. Box 67, Windom, KS 67491 or drop your packet off at the USD 444 District Office in Little River (455 West Prairie Ave).

We know everyone is anxious to learn details on what school is "going to look like" next month. Student & Staff SAFETY is #1 priority. Our Goal is to have students attending in-person.
