Happy Valentine's Day to ALL Veterans! WES had it's annual recognition of Veterans at the HS game on Tuesday evening. Students gave a good number of Veterans in attendance Valentine cards. Thank you to our Veterans, our Valentines, our HEROES.

Please make note the location of the USD 444 Board of Education's February 11th Board Meeting will be held at the Little River Jr./Sr. High School Commons Area rather than at the District Office beginning at 7 p.m.
Due to deteriorating weather, no school for Little River/Windom Thursday, February 7th. Be safe and stay warm.
Due to extreme cold temperatures and pending ice accumulations, Little River-Windom schools will run two hours late. No AM Preschool. I plan to reevaluate conditions in the morning and make a decision if further delay or cancellation is needed.

Wednesday, Feb. 6th the Jr. High Band will be heading to Emporia for ESU Music Day. It's a fun day learning of in groups of just their instrument plus they get free lunch and a t-shirt! Students will need to be on the bus by 6:50 am and we will return around 4:30 pm that day.
Marshall Bailey is with us this morning for KS Day!!! After some stories and cowboy songs we will do some square dancing and several stations this afternoon.
