Azim Bazarov, foreign exchange student hosted by William and Abigail Lehman, senior at LRHS, gives a presentation in Mr. Rains's class. He shared about his home country, Turkmenistan. He is always happy to visit with us about his country, and eager to learn our culture.

Junior high basketball travels to Centre today! Students will be dismissed at 1:50 today. C team girls game begins at 4:00pm followed by A & B boys and girls. Goooo Redskins!!!!

Little River FFA represented well today in McPherson for Dairy Cattle judging. Placing 7th as a team overall! Levi Swenson was 9th and Hannah Herzog was 10th in individual overall.

The junior high cheer squad will be selling these items at all home junior high basketball games as well as retired cheer uniforms.


Tabitha Ellwood & Mekenzie Renken explain that in science they built a model of DNA structures. They learned about how structures were discovered, and created a model of a structure with labels of sugar notches.

Bekki Pribil, Executive Director of the South Central Community Foundation, and Holly Rooks, Program Director, present Mrs. Gunther with a grant for $100 to utilize for Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) instruction!

Mark your calendars, Wednesday, November 8th, grades 9-12 will attend the 2nd annual ESSDACK Career Fair from 9:45-11:30. Parents are welcome to join us in Hutchinson.
Wednesday, Nov. 8th, following ESSDACK Career Fair, we will meet at our football field at 1:45pm for Powder Puff Football! We will then travel back to the high school gym for Iron Man Volleyball. (Approx. 2:45). Community members are welcome to attend.

There will be a pep rally to send off our football team to beat Coldwater at 1:00 in the gym. The football players will depart at 1:30. The pep bus will depart at 3:00. All other students will be dismissed at regular time, 3:35, unless they are picked up early for the game.
