Also After Prom will be hosting a booth at the Fall Festival on October 28th in downtown Little River...We are in need of parent volunteers to work the booth between the hours of 9a.m. and 1 p.m.. Please contact Jackie Schafer or Jean Page for scheduling. Thank you for your support.

LRJSH choir presents, "Night at the Movies!" Performance begins at 6:30pm in the high school auditorium. Students in choir must report at 6:00pm. Dress is white dress shirt with black pants/ black dress.

We are proud of our Little River Redskin varsity volleyball team earning 5th place at Wheat State League tournament today in Goessel! It's been fun watching you ladies play!! Goooo Redskins!

Gina Dalton and Jennifer Reitz are both entrepreneurs who were invited by Mrs. Rolfs to speak about their adventures in starting their own business. Gina is in the process of building a wedding venue, and Jennifer built the idea of educating people about Alzheimer's and dementia. Jennifer designed and patented a wrist band to identify an Alzheimer's patient. Jennifer also started a vintage boutique. They talked about going with your passion. Follow your dreams!!

Youth Entrepreneur students and Mrs. Wohletz visited WSU's "Go Create" center to explore ideas for entrepreneurship.




JV football game scheduled for Monday, October 16th vs. Canton-Galva has been canceled.

Melanie Renken and Amanda January have been named Kansas Honor Scholars by the University of Kansas. They have been invited to a reception in Hutchinson on November 8. Congratulations to these two young ladies on their academic efforts and this award!


TOMORROW.. Thursday, October 12, we are planning a WEAR RED DAY at WES. Please wear red shirts on this day as we plan to take a special appreciation picture of students for our area fire departments.

There will be an after prom meeting Wednesday, October 11th at the high school in the library at 5:30pm. Please arrive at the front east door to be allowed inside through the buzzer.
