Weight Room Update
The Weight Room has been relocated to the bus barn and will reopen effective Monday, May 17th at 10 a.m. Hours for Patron Use during the summer and until further notice will be Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Please make note that the COVID-19 Guidelines and Expectations are still in effect as per the attached document.
If you are having trouble accessing the Weight Room, please stop by the District Office between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or call 620-897-6325.

Baseball and Softball have been postponed for today, and the games at Ellinwood will be made up on Thursday, May 13 starting at 4:00. Both softball and baseball are planning to play a few innings of JV at the conclusion of the varsity games. JV baseball at Little River on 5.13.21 has been cancelled, and those JV games will not be made up.

LRHS Commencement will take place in the LRHS gym at 3:00pm on Saturday, May 8th. The graduation ceremony will be live streamed through NFHS at no cost. A link will be provided after 2:30 tomorrow but it can be found on NFHS site as well as an event.

Exciting news for graduates! Tory Tipp from State Farm Insurance has delivered SENIOR Yard signs for your BIG day tomorrow! Parents or graduates are welcome to come pick theirs up in the LRHS commons today until 3:30pm to display proudly! Otherwise, they may bring them home after commencement tomorrow. Congratulations Seniors!!!
Congrats to the LR girls winning the team championship at the Herington Track Meet yesterday and to the boys for their 5th place finish. Good job Redskins!
Baseball, Softball, and Track Senior Recognition Night 5-7-21:
Senior participants and their parents will be introduced and recognized between games Friday night. The baseball and track seniors and their parents will be recognized between games of the baseball doubleheader with Ell-Saline at the baseball venue. The senior softball players will be introduced and recognized between games at the softball venue.
Friday Fellowship - The last Friday Fellowship of the school year will be tomorrow at 7:30 am in the gym or auditorium. LR Congregational will sponsor breakfast, and there will be some of Kristi's famous donuts! Pastor Ted Weis will share the devotional. Seniors are welcome to get up and come join us! All JH and HS students and staff are welcome to attend. LET'S GO!

USD 444 Calendar Update
Wednesday, May 5th, IS a Late Start day with teachers reporting at 7:45 a.m. and students beginning at 9:10 a.m.
Wednesday, May 12th, will be a regular school day beginning at 8:10 a.m. and releasing at 3:35 p.m. AND is the last day for students.
Friday Fellowship tomorrow morning at 7:30 in the gym. Amy Kay from Elim Lutheran will be sharing devotional. All Little River JH and HS students and staff are invited to attend for great fellowship and great food. Bring a friend & LET'S GO!
