There will be NO JH Track, HS Track, Softball, or Baseball practice today after school. No after practice busses will be ran. We are looking forward to the HS Athletic Banquet this evening to recognize our outstanding student athletes at 6:30pm.
Fine Arts Night will take place Monday, April 19th in the LRHS gym. Doors will open at 6:00pm for guests to view the HS Art Show and Wood Shop projects. Solo performances will also take place at this time. The concert and student recognition will begin at 6:30pm. This event includes the JH and HS Choir, JH and HS Band, Art, Building Trades, and Forensics students. Students will need to be in concert attire and ready to warm up at 5:30pm. Please join us and support the Arts!

At last night's board meeting it was approved to move to Phase 1 of the district's Re-Opening Plan, which recommends the wearing of a mask, but it is no longer required. We will continue to sanitize and adhere to other safety precautions. This is ONLY at USD 444 school and sponsored events. Please adhere to other schools guidelines when attending events.

For After Prom: If you are providing drinks you can send them with your student tomorrow or bring them to the school from 7-9 tomorrow evening so we can get them on ice. Feel free to send non perishable items as well. Please mark for After Prom. We will be available Saturday from 10-11 if Friday doesn’t work. An 8th grade celebration will occur on Wednesday, May 12th at 9:00am in the HS Gymnasium. This is our last day of school for students. Dress will be casual school attire. At the conclusion of the ceremony 8th grade students will be dismissed early at 10:00am. Families are welcome with no limit for guests. Any safety measures and requirements will be announced closer to the event. This celebration will be live on facebook for those unable to attend.
The LRHS Commencement Ceremony will take place on May 8th @ 3:00pm in the HS gymnasium. At this time we are not planning limitations for attendance. Any safety measures and requirements will be announced closer to the event. Please note that if area health agencies recommend limitations in gatherings we may need to make adjustments to our plan. LRHS Commencement will be live-streamed as well.
Thank you to our boys’ basketball team for a great season! You were fun to watch and represented LRJSH very well. We are proud of you, the coaches, managers, parents, cheerleaders, band, students, and fans!! Little River Redskins finished 3rd place in the 1A Division 1 State Tournament. Redskin Proud!!!
