Attention: Forms will be due tomorrow for our LRHS CHEER Clinic. This is to ensure that your student receives a bow and shirt. A form should have went home with your student a couple of weeks ago. If you still need one they can be found in the WES Office.

USD 444 Little River-Windom is excited to announce that Wednesday, September 22nd will be an open house and appreciation night for patrons at our schools that will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at both locations. All USD 444 families and patrons will be able to tour the new buildings at both Windom and Little River. USD 444 staff, students, and administration, would like to say once again a huge thank you for your commitment to our schools. Your generous support allowed this to become a reality. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you on the 22nd.

Fellowship of Christian Students will start back up tomorrow morning (9/10). It will start at 7:30 AM in the LRHS Gym. All students 7th-12th grade are welcome to join. Breakfast will be donated by Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Military Appreciation Night
This Friday Night at our Home Football Game vs Clifton-Clyde. LRHS will honor our Veterans, Active Military, and First Responders. They will receive FREE admission into the ball game and will be recognized. Kickoff is at 7:00 PM. Please attend and show your love for the ones that have served, protected, and fought for our freedoms.

The HS Redskin Football Team will be competing in a Jamboree against Central Christian, Meade and Satanta at the Don Michael Field, 17th & Severance, Hutchinson, KS, at 7 p.m. tonight. Admission is a bottle of water, Gatorade or Powerade. There will be a concessions consisting of drinks and pizza.

Picture packets were sent home today, after practice, for HS/JH Fall Athletics. York will be here this Thursday morning, August 19th, at 9 am to take Team and Individual pictures.
If your student is interested in joining Little River Athletics, we will start practice Monday, August 16th @ the following times and locations. Come be a part of the Tribe. Roll Tribe!
USD 444 staff is looking forward to the upcoming school year. School will begin on September 7th for students with in person instruction. Safety protocols will continue to be in place. Masks will be optional at this time and are a parent and staff choice. Any other decisions regarding future protocols will be evaluated with local data. Masks will be required on the bus as it is a federal requirement for all transportation and is not a local decision. Final reopening plan will be board approved and sent home for your information later this month. We look forward to a great school year in our new facilities. Enrollment packets will be mailed home this week.
If you are planning on participating in a Fall Sport, you will need to turn in a completed sports physical and concussion form. These need to be turned in preferably by Friday, August 13th, so they can be entered into the state for eligibility. If you must turn in on the 16th, that will be allowed as well. If your student athlete was not at weights to get the concussion form, there will be forms at the District Office to pick up and fill out. Please turn all paperwork into the District Office this week. Look forward to a successful Redskin Season! Roll Tribe!
