The HS Redskin Football Team will be competing in a Jamboree against Central Christian, Meade and Satanta at the Don Michael Field, 17th & Severance, Hutchinson, KS, at 7 p.m. tonight. Admission is a bottle of water, Gatorade or Powerade. There will be a concessions consisting of drinks and pizza.

USD 444 staff is looking forward to the upcoming school year. School will begin on September 7th for students with in person instruction. Safety protocols will continue to be in place. Masks will be optional at this time and are a parent and staff choice. Any other decisions regarding future protocols will be evaluated with local data. Masks will be required on the bus as it is a federal requirement for all transportation and is not a local decision. Final reopening plan will be board approved and sent home for your information later this month. We look forward to a great school year in our new facilities. Enrollment packets will be mailed home this week.

If you are planning on participating in a Fall Sport, you will need to turn in a completed sports physical and concussion form. These need to be turned in preferably by Friday, August 13th, so they can be entered into the state for eligibility. If you must turn in on the 16th, that will be allowed as well. If your student athlete was not at weights to get the concussion form, there will be forms at the District Office to pick up and fill out. Please turn all paperwork into the District Office this week. Look forward to a successful Redskin Season! Roll Tribe!

Junior High Football Camp will be held July 12, 13 & 14 8:30-10:00 A.M. @ the practice field. Cost is $15.00. Please bring cleats, water jug and a great attitude. Cordell Chiropractic will be here tomorrow morning, June 16, for sport physicals. Students will need to bring a SIGNED physical form and $20, check or cash. Checks should be made out to Cordell Chiropractic. We will follow this schedule: 7:00 am - HS Boys 8:00 am - HS Girls 9:00 am - JH Boys & Girls Physical forms can be picked up at district office. Be sure the forms are signed correctly, parent and athlete, before going for the physical on June 16.

USD #444 Recreation Commission Swimming Lessons will be held July 5th through July 16th at the Marquette Swimming Pool. The cost of swimming lessons will be $20.00 per child and checks should be made payable to the Marquette Swimming Pool. Registration forms are available at the USD 444 District Office or can be found at https://5il.co/tybw and will need to be turned in NO LATER than Monday, June 21st, to either the District Office or mailed to the USD #444 Recreation Commission at PO Box 471, Little River, KS 67457.
