An 8th grade celebration will occur on Wednesday, May 12th at 9:00am in the HS Gymnasium. This is our last day of school for students. Dress will be casual school attire. At the conclusion of the ceremony 8th grade students will be dismissed early at 10:00am. Families are welcome with no limit for guests. Any safety measures and requirements will be announced closer to the event. This celebration will be live on facebook for those unable to attend.
The LRHS Commencement Ceremony will take place on May 8th @ 3:00pm in the HS gymnasium. At this time we are not planning limitations for attendance. Thank you to our boys’ basketball team for a great season! You were fun to watch and represented LRJSH very well. We are proud of you, the coaches, managers, parents, cheerleaders, band, students, and fans!! Little River Redskins finished 3rd place in the 1A Division 1 State Tournament. Redskin Proud!!!

The LRJSH building is now safe and school has resumed.
All students and staff are evacuated and safe at Little River Junior Senior High School. Smoke was present in the gymnasium so 911 was alerted and the fire department dispatched. We are determining the source of smoke at this time and plan for school to resume. We will keep you updated.
Friday Game Day Fellowship in the morning at 7:30. LR and Marquette United Methodist Churches are the sponsors. All LR staff and JH and HS students are welcome to attend for great fellowship and food. Coach Trimmell will also be sharing. LET'S GO!

Due to the high school boy's basketball team playing in the state tournament in Dodge City on Friday evening, school will be dismissed at 2 pm on Friday for all staff and students. Buses will run as always but at 2 pm. If you need to make arrangements for your child please contact the building offices. A reminder that Spring Break is next week!

Voucher Information for Quarterfinals at LRJSH: All who attend Monday or Tuesday game(s) as a non-participant must have a voucher for admission. Due to KSHSAA guidelines our capacity is limited to 300 spectators for each team on each night. Participants will have vouchers to distribute to family on Monday. Vouchers will be available to the public at 10:00am on Monday morning for Monday's girls' game. Tuesday's boys' game vouchers will be available as soon as possible and may also be ready by 10:00am on Monday. Vouchers for the public may be picked up at the District Office. Students who wish to attend the game may pick up their vouchers at the high school. GO Redskins!!
Little River Redskin Girls' will host Highland-Doniphan West at home. Game will be at 6 pm Monday, March 8th at home not away! Ticket information based on KSHSAA restrictions will be announced later today. Boys' will host Clifton-Clyde on Tuesday, March 9th at 6 pm.

Girls' site is yet to be determined at this moment but game will be played Monday, March 8th. Boys' will play at home vs. Clifton-Clyde on Tuesday, March 9th.
