USD 444 Little River Calendar Change
At last night's board meeting, the board approved moving the July 8th board meeting to July 22nd & set July 8th as a special board meeting date beginning at 6 p.m. at the DO with Facility Planning & Food Service Agreement as the agenda items.
Due to HCC VB Camp on June 10th we will not have 6:30am weights for girls. Instead, all other non-VB players will lift during the JH time at 7:30am on that day. In order to enable car pooling, JH girls/boy weights will now be M, T, Th - 7:30-8:30 immediately after HS Girls.
Tonight is the Spring Sports dessert banquet for HS Baseball, Softball, JH & HS Track, and JH & HS Scholar's Bowl to honor our student athletes @ 6:30pm. Please bring a dessert to share.
Reminder to all parents tomorrow, Wednesday, May 22nd is a regular start day. NO LATE START. Bus Routes will run as normal. Please contact Nancy at the school in the morning or your bus driver if you are not riding. You will be contacted if the bus can not make it to your house.

The community meeting scheduled for tonight is on as scheduled. Tour starts at Windom at 5 pm. A free hamburger meal and homemade ice cream begins at 5:30 at Little River. I hope you will make time to come out and tour the facilities and learn about the facility needs. Be Safe!
Due to the continued rainfall and flooding in many parts of the district, we will run shuttle routes ONLY this afternoon. Marquette shuttle will be running to the Marquette school at this time. Thank you for your understanding in this unusual situation.
Bus routes will run shuttle service ONLY due to water over several roads. We WILL be running a bus from Marquette leaving at 9 A.M. School will begin 2 hours late. If you can not make it in to school, due to high waters please contact the school office.
Due to the excessive rainfall and flooding, Little River-Windom will have a two hour late start tomorrow. I will make a decision regarding bus routes tomorrow morning by 8:00 A.M. Bus routes will run unless rain continues. No A.M. preschool or breakfast.
8th grade promotion & JH recognition is still set for 7pm tonight. Please call the LRHS office if you feel you are unable to make it due to flooding. If a large number are unable to attend, we will re-evaluate rescheduling, but may be difficult at end of year. Thank you.
Seniors & Senior Parents, a graduation tassel was found at Windom Elementary School today and turned into the District Office. If you have lost yours, please contact the District Office (897-6325) or Little River School Office (897-6201) to claim it. Thank you!
Juniors can get a physical as soon as they are finished with Tournament of Tigers Tomorrow at WES.
Congratulations to the baseball team on their win in first round regional play. They will play Ellis at 3:30 - Thurs., May 16th @ Barton Comm. College. Go Redskins!!

What: Neosho County Community College Basketball Camp @ Little River HS
When: June 14th, 10 AM - 1 PM @ Little River High School
Who: Junior High & High School Basketball Players, 6th grade -12th( 2019-2020 school year) Boys & Girls
Cost: $10 per player, signup and pay day of camp, June 14th.
Please arrive around 9:30am to get signed in and pay.
Correction: The Spring Sports Dessert Banquet is May 22nd @ 6:30pm.

USD 444 will run regular schedule tomorrow, Thursday, May 9th. If you want to bring your child to school please contact your bus driver or Nancy at the High School in the morning. If buses can not reach your house Nancy will contact you in the morning. Be safe!
Due to the wet weather conditions, the Little River Youth Track Meet on Saturday, May 11th, is being moved to a 1 p.m. start time. Registration will begin at 12:30 p.m. Please contact Trudy Stephens (620) 680-1070 or Tyson Konen (620) 242-7178 with any questions.
Due to unsafe road conditions and water over the roads, USD 444 will not be able to run bus routes this AM. Please be safe! If you can not make it to school you will be excused. We will plan to run the shuttle from Little River to Windom as normal. School is in session.
Due to the weather forecast over the next 24 hours, Windom School Tournament of Tigers (TOT) will not be held tomorrow. We will have TOT on Thursday, May 16.
