USD 444 Little River Board of Education set a Special Board Meeting date of April 1, 2019, beginning at 6 p.m. at the District Office, at their regular meeting on March 18, 2019.

Winter Sports Banquet - Thursday, March 21st @ 6:30pm. This is for recognition of JH and HS (Cheer, Scholar's Bowl, and Basketball). We are having a Potluck Meal in the commons. Go Skins!

Reminder: NO school for LRJSH students tomorrow (Tues., March 5) due to JH WSL Band/Vocal being hosted at LRJSH. Only junior high band/vocal students performing will attend. School is still in session for WES students.
Reminder: TONIGHT (Monday, March 4th) from 6-7:15 - the staff at LRJSH invites PARENTS & COMMUNITY MEMBERS to round table discussions about: Personalized Learning, Social Emotional Character Development, Career & Community, and Project Based Learning. Students and Staff are excited to share where we are at on our Journey to Redesign.

Due to projected dangerous wind chills and the country road conditions, Little River/ Windom will have a 2 hour late start tomorrow, Monday, 3-4-19, morning. There will be no breakfast or AM preschool.

Class 1A Sub-State Bracket! Hope you can make it to Dodge City to cheer for our Redskins!!
Due to Junior High WSL Vocal & Band on Tuesday, March 5th, there will be NO SCHOOL for LRJSH Students. There WILL be school for students at WES. Mr. Reilly will have special directions for JH Vocal and Band students that day. All teachers report at both buildings. Thank you.
Sub-state assignments for 1A have been posted. The Little River Boys will play at Dodge City at 6 pm on Friday, March 1st vs. South Gray. Brackets will be posted on website and can be found on the KSHSAA website.
Good luck today to the Redskins Boys' basketball team in the regional finals. Games are on as scheduled with the Girls Championship game at 3 pm with the Boys final to follow at 4:30 @ Little River High School.
Tonight we continue second round Boys regional basketball play at LRHS!

***A.M. and P.M. PreK classes are welcome to attend Jump Rope for Heart tomorrow and participate. Both classes, please arrive to the gym by 12:50 p.m. (not to Windom).
PreK parents may stay or pick up your child at 3:30 p.m. if they do not ride a bus or go to the daycare.
Jump Rope for Heart - Friday, Feb. 22 at the LRHS gym at 1 pm. We encourage students to wear RED!
Students will be dismissed from LRHS gym and commons area at 3:30. Busses will run from Little River for all routes.
The Little River Learning Center/Daycare will be closed tomorrow, February 20th, due to the inclement weather.
Due to the road conditions Little River-Windom schools will be closed tomorrow, February 20th.
