The JH and HS school band will be marching at the State Fair on Monday, September 9th instead of Wednesday, September 11th, between 9:30 AM and 10:00 AM. ALL band students need to report to the school on Monday NO later than 8:30 AM. Parents, you can sign your child out early to go home or they may remain at the fairgrounds. If you are planning to pick up your child at the fairgrounds, you MUST sign them out with Mr. Spears. For those students who will be riding the bus home, it will return to Little River around 3:30 p.m. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Spears at 620-897-6201 by Friday, September 6th.

Back to School First Day for students is tomorrow, August 15th. School begins at 8:10 a.m. and is released at 3:35 p.m. Shuttle buses, for in-town students, between Little River and Windom will leave the respective schools promptly at 7:40 a.m. We ask that you arrive at the Little River or Windom School around 7:30 a.m.-7:35 a.m. to ride the shuttle bus. For students in rural areas, bus drivers will be contacting or may already have contacted you with your morning pickup time. As our student-athletes are getting their physicals done, please bring them into the district office, along with their concussion forms. Both forms have been handed out to those who have been attending weights. Forms can still be picked up in the weight room. Both forms need to be turned in before your student-athlete can participate in any practice. Fall practice starts August 19th. Please have forms turned in by August 16th, so they can be filed to the state.
