The LRSJH band and vocal concert is this Monday, November 28th and will begin at 7:00 PM. This is there Winter Concert and will include winter songs, such as “In Winter” and “Travelin’” as well as several Christmas songs. The 7th / 8th grade band and choir will perform 5 songs, including “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” and “Angel Song.” Bri Allison will also sing the solo “O Holy Night.” We hope you will be able to join us for a short concert to welcome a new season.

Due to the Sub-State Football game at Burlingame on Friday, November 18th, at 6 p.m., school will be dismissed at 2 p.m. Buses will run as normal or you may pick up your child at their respective building at 2 p.m. Community and patrons are invited to the Little River Jr./Sr. High School Gym for the Redskin Send Off at 12:45 p.m.

PARENT INFORMATION NIGHT Thursday, August 25 We would like to invite and encourage you to attend our Parent Information Night (PIN), scheduled for Thursday, August 25 beginning at 6:00 p.m. This is a VERY important event at which the classroom teacher will give information pertinent to your child’s school year. Please mark your calendar to attend the PIN. Our Title I teacher, Mrs. Hildebrand, and Special Education teacher, Mrs. Walker, will also be available at times during the evening. If your child is involved with either of these teachers, we would invite you to stop by their rooms to touch base. You will be contacted by Mrs. Hildebrand, Title I teacher, at a later date if your child qualifies for Title I assistance. 6th grade parents - Mrs. Oborny, band instructor, will be available from 6:00-6:45 p.m. in the lobby or alcove area in the main hallway. She will be available to share information about the band program, instruments, and answer any questions. Mrs. Lafferty, P.E. teacher, will also be available at times during the evening regarding P.E. In order to help you to be able to attend, children may attend and utilize our playground equipment (gymnasium if inclement weather). If preschool age siblings attend, they should stay with older siblings on the playground. These activities will be supervised and ALL school playground rules will apply. Students will be required to stay outdoors and you may pick them up after your meeting(s) inside. There are three sessions scheduled for your convenience and to meet the needs of parents with more than one student attending Windom Elementary School. 6:00 - 6:25 p.m. All grade levels in respective classrooms 6:30 - 6:55 p.m. All grade levels in respective classrooms 7:00 - 7:25 p.m. All grade levels in respective classrooms Please plan to attend.
