Our JH Basketball Teams will now travel to Centre on Monday, January 29th, instead of playing Peabody for a second time. This is to make up for our original game that was postponed earlier. Game times will be sent out, once we receive them from Centre.

USD 444 Little River Calendar Update for Monday, January 15, 2024
There is NO SCHOOL for students Pre-K to 12th Grade due to the already scheduled Teacher Inservice.

There will be NO HS Basketball Games played this evening.
Due to blowing snow and high winds, Little River-Windom will have a 2 hour late start tomorrow, Friday, January 12th for grades Kindergarten through 12th Grade. Several country roads are not passable and many roads have become slick. Please use caution and contact your bus driver if you know your road is not accessible. If you feel it is not safe to get your child to school, please contact the school your child attends to let them know. Pre-K students will not attend and breakfast will not be served. A final decision will be made as soon as possible after the roads are surveyed in the morning.
There has been a change in start time for tonight's HS BB games at Peabody. They will be moved up an hour, with our HS WBB team playing at 5PM and our HS MBB team to follow.
Due to the road conditions and excessive snow amounts, Little River-Windom will not have school tomorrow, (January 10). There will also be no evening activities.
Due to the impending weather, Little River-Windom Schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, January 9th. All scheduled activities have been cancelled. Stay warm and safe!

Due to Goessel calling off school for tomorrow, our HS BB game with them scheduled for tomorrow has been canceled. We are looking to reschedule at a future date.
There have been many changes to our activities and athletics schedules this week.
HS WSL Scholars Bowl at Wakefield, which was scheduled for today, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, January 10th at 4PM.
JH BB at Centre, this Thursday, has had a change in times. Their schedule will now start at 3:45 PM with the Boys B Team and Girls A Team, followed by the Girls B and Boys A.
HS BB at Peabody has been rescheduled for this Thursday, January 11th. This will be a varsity-only competition, starting at 6 PM.

Today's HS Basketball games at Peabody have been postponed. Schools are working on a rescheduled date, will let you know as soon as it is set.
Due to the current weather forecast, USD 444 Little River Schools will have a two-hour late start today, Friday, January 5th. All morning bus routes will run 2 hours later than normal and classes will begin at 10:10 a.m. There will be no Pre-K and breakfast will not be served. Please be aware that school may still be canceled for the day should the weather or road conditions fail to improve. If that is the case, a text notification will be sent to families, and updates provided to the designated media outlets as as that decision is made.
FCS will not be held tomorrow morning, Friday, January 5th, for the Little River Jr./Sr. High School students and staff.
USD 444 Little River Calendar Change
On Monday, January 8th, there is NO JH basketball game vs St. John as stated on the district hard calendar. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Due to illness, Wakefield Boys will NOT be travelling tonight. There will be NO Varsity Boys Basketball game. The JV girls and Varsity girls games will go on as scheduled. The pie auction to help raise money for our FACS class will still go on as scheduled, as well. The pie auction will take place after the Varsity WBB game is finished.
